Our lead talent, Simon Kemper, has over twenty-five years of experience in the music industry, successfully writing and producing music commercially and as an artist. He’s also a qualified sound engineer and gained a distinction at the SAE London.
We’ve mixed and mastered film soundtracks and produced experiential sound and effects for major movie premieres. In 2016, we wrote and produced a theme for the London Olympics and we’ve also worked on promotional events for big name brands, such as Nike.
6ton studio guests and friends
The 6ton studio has been host to many musical luminaries; the Sherman brothers, who scored Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, have worked there, as well as ex Eurythmics star Dave Stewart, trip hop’s Tricky and big beat pioneers The Chemical Brothers.
A platinum disk award
One of Simon’s artistic adventures was Dusk Til Dawn, who released “Fine Night”, a track that became an Ibizan anthem, was featured on the Ministry Of Sound Millenium Annual which was awarded a platinum disk - for sales in excess of 500,000.
